Maximus Building Supply, a supplier of lumber, windows, doors, trim and other building materials, recently completed a significant renovation at its Olive Branch  location, the site of the company’s largest showroom and its specialized Door Shop.

Under the leadership of CEO Richard Cooper, Maximus Building Supply has embarked on a mission to  upgrade its locations, with the Olive Branch showroom’s transformation following the successful remodel of the Collierville store last year.

TEAM ACHIEVES GOAL OF BUILDING THE ST. JUDE DREAM HOME IN 25 HOURS

MAXIMUS BUILDING SUPPLY BUYS BRIGHTON LUMBER

Maximus Building Supply announced this month that it is expanding in West Tennessee with the acquisition of the assets related to the operations of Brighton Lumber Company, located in Brighton, Tennessee. Oneal Tankersley has owned and managed Brighton Lumber Company for the past 17 years. Richard Cooper, president and owner of Maximus Building Supply, reached out to discuss the possibility of a transaction between the two local area companies, and the deal closed earlier in July. A Collierville-based building supply company has rebranded and revamped its front office as it plans for growth.

THRIFTY BUILDING REBRANDS AS MAXIMUS BUILDING SUPPLY

Thrifty Building Supply, established in Collierville nearly 40 years ago by Farrell Evans to meet the demand for building products for simple structures like sheds and barns, is getting a new name.

Since the company’s founding, it has grown and evolved from a small building supply company to one of the Mid-South’s premier building suppliers. Richard Cooper, who took over as owner and president in January this year, thought the name, Thrifty, didn’t completely align with their product offerings and standing in the industry and felt it was time to rebrand. Thrifty Building Supply, a supplier to home builders in west Tennessee and north Mississippi, hosted a Customer Appreciation Party on April 25 to celebrate 35 years in business.
